Oakland Roots

It has been tough for many sports fans in Oakland to watch our city’s professional teams leave us. Although it’s not official, the team is making progress with becoming our newest pro squad by signing its first player: Devonte Dubose. A graduate of Bishop O’Dowd High School, Dubose was born and raised in Oakland. He’s excited to be part of this pioneering effort and hopes to see the sport take foot, sooner rather than later.
